Agios Panteleimon Beach

East of Karavostasi there is a large rock on which the traces of the ancient settlement of Priniatikos Pyrgos have been traced.

Behind the rock unfolds the second beach of Agios Panteleimonas. Saint Panteleimonas takes its name from the picturesque church built on the waves. This beach is sandy and well organized with umbrellas, showers, water sports, etc. It is considered to be a decent spot for windsurfing. Very close to the western edge is the great wetland of Kalo Potamos, while among the many trees you will see two hidden German servicemen of the Second World War.
