SETTING AND POSITION

Istron Luxury “Bay” villas are located in the Pilos gulf which they harmonically but still discretely share with the neighboring hotel. Villas are arranged in 2 parallel complexes, elegantly cascading down the eastern slope of the gulf, each level dedicated to a single house.  Villa Alkistis is set on the foot of the complex farthest from the sea, just 200m though, and next to our reception and restaurant.

ARRANGEMENT-CAPACITY

Villa Alkistis is a one bedroom villa divided in two spaces:

• a spacious bedroom with an en suite bathtub -bathroom
• a living area which includes a kitchen, a small dining table and a lounge.

FITTINGS & FIXTURES

• The bed can be set together or apart according to wish.
• The villa can hold an extra bed or baby cot if needed.
• Temperature is regulated by autonomous air conditioning units in each room.
• Kitchen Includes: kettle, coffee machine, toaster or sandwich maker, Microwave, 4 hobs cooking oven, refrigerator, all appropriate Kitchenware.
• Bathroom Includes: towels, hairdryer, toiletries, makeup mirror, emergency kit
• Villa includes: safe box, DVD player 28’LCD TV, satellite t.v., Iron and Iron board.

AMBIENCE

Bathroom is tiled with white marble. The villa is equipped with modern furniture. Original hand-drawn paintings and art-works around the house complete the decoration.

POINT OF COMFORT / LUXURY

To ensure the quality of the sleep a substantial investment has been made to equip the villas with metal free, ergonomic mattresses built with natural materials, as well as quality pillows.

THE VIEWS, THE SOUNDS

The real winner of the villa is the spacious flagstone terrace. Trees and ivy climbing up the stone walls and pergolas create a lush environment. The villa is surrounded with olive trees and offers views to the hills. The dominant sounds are the rattling cicadas in the midsummer during noon and gentle crickets after sunset and the sea, though concealed, can still be heard roaring on a quiet night.

• Immersed marble-top steps secure effortless access for all.

TERRACE FURNITURE

The marble top round table for alfresco meals is placed under the shade of the pergola and the trees. A swing chair and the sunlounges are set around the pool.  A portable barbeque is available upon demand

PRIVACY / SHADING

Although the difference in elevation is already a significant separating element, the carefully placed shadings and dome created by the lush vegetation blinds effectively most of the terrace area. A wooden fence separates and protects privacy from the little restaurant next to the villa. In addition to the fixed pergola, a parasol can provide extra shading when needed.
